Shanghai University of Finance and Economics will host the 2nd Global Mergers and Acquisitions Summit on 6 January at the China World Hotel in Beijing, and free tickets have been made available to BritCham/CBBC members on a first come, first served basis.
 
With economic globalisation, M&As have become the most effective way for modern enterprises to reach an optimum size and maximum power. In recent years, China’s market has shown enormous growth and potential as regards both volume of business and volume of business transactions.
 
With the support of the Ministries of Finance and Commerce, in line with the current M&A policy direction, and building a bridge for M&A parties, the university would like to build a high quality platform to integrate government, corporations, third-party professional service providers and academic experts. It has a very good relationship with the high-level decision-makers of China's finance system and Shanghai Municipal Government.
