  • An overview of the perceptions of European businesses in Shanghai.

About the Rule of Law for Business Programme
The British government is considering investing substantial resources in a multi-year judicial and legal cooperation with Chinese institutions, with the specific purpose of improving the Rule of Law, generating socio-economic benefits in China and advancing UK commercial interests and the business environment in which UK businesses operate.
Great Britain China Centre (GBCC) has been asked by the FCO to carry out a scoping study to map out the priority areas of cooperation that will benefit the various beneficiaries and the UK business community.

Assistant Director of GBCC, Kathryn Rand, will share the strategic context and initial findings drawn from the scoping study. She is also keen to speak to businesses to get feedback and comments on your experience of the legal and judicial environment for business in China.
