With 545 international schools already in China and increasing demand from Chinese parents for an international or dual curriculum based education there are clearly opportunities for UK schools across the country.

As always, however, the Chinese market demands thorough preparation, the development of a network of trusted UK and Chinese partners and an appreciation of how to apply UK education standards in the local context.

CBBC International Schools Report
The China-Britain Business Council’s brand-new report, International Schools in China, shows where the opportunities are, offers advice on best practice from CBBC and British Chamber members, and gives guidance on how to navigate the complexities of entering China’s education market.

CBBC wants to ensure that UK companies take advantage of the changing landscape, and we have prepared this report to show the growth of international and bi-lingual schools in China, and to explore the opportunities and challenges.
