CBBC involved in high-level talks at International Infrastructure Investment & Construction Forum, Macau

CBBC was invited to the Roundtable for the Chairmen of International Associations at the 5th International Infrastructure Investment & Construction Forum (IIICF) in Macau on 8-9 May.
 
The forum was attended by the UK Government and UK Trade & Investment. Stephen Hammond MP, Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for Transport, delivered an opening speech as part of the government delegation.
 
 
Key organisations worldwide were invited to the forum alongside CBBC
 
The Roundtable for the Chairmen of International Associations was attended by Diao Chunhe, Chairman of the China International Contractors Association (CHINCA). CBBC Executive Director Mike Dethick spoke on CSR and the Joint Action Plan.
 
The UK was also represented by Doug Oakervee, who took part in the discussion panel on "Investing in Infrastructure Markets in Developed Economies", and Sir Michael Bear.
 
A number of positive bilateral discussions took place at the forum on the role the UK has to play, involving CBBC as well as Stephen Hammond, Sir Michael Bear and Doug Oakervee.

CBBC held several meetings with major Chinese contractors and the dialogue proved favourable and constructive.
