Chinese business and tax regulations have been updated widely in 2013, and this may have a significant impact on your business in China.

In this webinar on Tuesday 15 October, 16:30-17:30 Beijing time, PricewaterhouseCoopers and CBBC will share their insight into some important changes that you may be interested in or should pay attention to, including:
  1. A VAT pilot programme was implemented nationwide in pilot industries from 1 August 2013. Are you ready for it? What is new?
  2. A long-awaited tax circular to clarify the secondment arrangement was released recently. It provides guidelines to distinguish secondment and service. Multinational groups are advised to revisit the existing secondment arrangement to avoid unnecessary tax risk in China.
  3. Outward remittance of certain service trade payments has been simplified, which is an important breakthrough in foreign exchange control. How should you follow up the new implementation rules and get your cash out of China efficiently and properly?
  4. Updates of other news:
  • China has set up a free trade zone in Shanghai, which will be operated as a pilot programme for around two or three years. Customs and forex related policies will be released first and those in other areas will be released later.
  • Base erosion and profit shifting is one of the hottest tax issues globally. What will be its impact on China?
