As the crucial part of China’s comprehensive deepening of reform, China’s healthcare reform is now attracting widespread attention. On 28 May, the General Office of the State Council announced the "Main Tasks in 2014 in Deepening the Reform of the Pharmaceutical and Healthcare Systems", in which public hospital reform, private hospitals, the national health insurance system and pharmaceutical trade regulation were given priority for this year.

The European Chamber is delighted to invite Mr Ge Yanfeng, Deputy Director of the Social Development Dept at the Development Research Centre of the State Council, and Mr Zhang Meng, Managing Principal of IMS Health, to share with attendees their viewpoints on the next step for healthcare reform.

Ge Yanfeng will give his view on the healthcare reform agenda as well as the challenges ahead, including regional healthcare system integration, healthcare insurance regulation and commercial healthcare insurance.

The topics to be covered by Mr. Zhang Meng will be announced soon.

We are pleased to offer members of the BritCham/CBBC Healthcare Forum the special price of RMB 300 (RMB 500 for non-members). Members should write "British Chamber" next to their company name when registering in order to receive their discount.
