The China Global Investment Summit: Hangzhou is being organised by Euromoney in conjunction with the 15th West Lake International Expo Hangzhou on 16-17 October.
The summit will bring together over 400 policymakers, business leaders, industry experts, economists and key overseas investors who will help paint an overview of the Hangzhou economy and investment opportunities, including analysis into all key sectors.
It is an excellent chance for international companies not only to discover business opportunities in China, especially Hangzhou, but also to meet business leaders, investors and policymakers.
Topics to be addressed by different panels of experts include:
  • What's next for the world's second largest economy?
  • Financing Chinese enterprises' growth and development
  • Financing renewable energy
  • E-commerce growth and opportunities
  • Chinese consumption
  • China's creative industry (digital media and entertainment)

Company visits
There will also be company visits hosted by Hangzhou Municipal Government to:

  • Alibaba Group
  • Zhejiang Hangzhou Future Sci-Tech City
  • Hangzhou Wahaha Group
  • Hangzhou Economic and Technological Development Area (HEDA)

Speakers include representatives of JP Morgan, Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Deloitte, BNP Paribas, KPMG and China-Britain Business Council (CBBC).

For full details, please see the agenda attached below.

The summit is free to attend but by invitation only. As CBBC is a supporting organisation, free places will be offered to BritCham/CBBC members or invited companies.

NB: Free attendance applies to conference admission and lunch only. Accommodation, transport, subsistence and other associated costs are entirely the responsibility of delegates themselves.
