2015 China (Shenzhen) International Finance Exposition (Shenzhen FINEXPO), which is organised by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, China Chamber of International Commerce, Shenzhen Municipal People’s Government, Bank of China, China Financial Computerization Corp., China Merchants Bank, China International Capital Corporation Limited and Shenzhen Stock Exchange, will be held in Hall 1, Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center during November 5-7, 2015. Shenzhen FINEXPO has been successfully held for eight consecutive years since 2007 and has made great contribution in promoting innovative development of Shenzhen’s financial industry and forging a platform for financial exchange and cooperation.
Shenzhen FINEXPO has also become one of the three biggest finance expositions in China. The 2015 China (Shenzhen) International Finance Exposition will take up to 30,000 square metres and is expected to have about 300 exhibitors from banking, securities, insurance, internet finance, fund and investment and financing sectors and 100,000 visitors.
The financial industry is one of Shenzhen’s pillar industries. In 2014, financial industry in Shenzhen achieved an added value of RMB 225 billion, which witnessed an increase of about 12% and occupied 14% in Shenzhen’s GDP. The tax revenue of Shenzhen financial industry achieved RMB 94.6 billion with growth of about 27%.Some key indicators, such as total asset of financial industry, local and foreign currency’s loans and deposit balance, quantity of securities company, quantity of fund company and management of asset size, quantity of insurance company and total asset size, and other core index continue to remain at the top three nationwide. Qianhai Shenzhen-Hongkong Modern Service Industry Cooperation Zone plays an important role in the implementation of “Maritime Silk Road” strategy. It will focus on cross-border finance and offshore finance; vigorously promote cross-border equity investment, syndicated loan, credit insurance and other financial cooperation; actively attract multilateral financial institutions, sovereign wealth fund of countries along the Maritime Silk Road and investment fund to settle in.
In 2015, Shenzhen FINEXPO will coordinate with the construction for developmental strategy of 21st Century Maritime Silk Road by allocating special exhibition areas for the Silk Road, inviting financial institutions from countries along the Silk Road and ask those institutions to hold ‘Silk Road’ seminar to discuss topics of financial development exchange, cooperation and how to forge an effective platform for countries along the Silk Road to do financial exchange and trade cooperation.
