With the development of science and technology, cloud computing is increasingly transforming business models and facilitating efficiency across offices worldwide. By unburdening companies from the "traditional" office model, cloud computing is allowing employees to work remotely, and providing them with new ways to collaborate. In the next three years in China, the spending growth in cloud is expected to be five times more than that of the whole IT industry, while revenue may reach $800 billion.

At this event China Entercom will provide an overview of cloud computing, its advantages and how it can allow a business to reduce IT operational costs via the cloud safely and effectively and be more competitive.

The event will bring together a group of around 20 BritCham and CBBC member companies to hear from an expert speaker, CITIC Telecom’s Chief Vice President Mr. Layton Lok, on how to integrate cloud computing into your company’s business and the cost-saving synergies SmartCLOUD could bring to your enterprise.

Who should attend?
Medium and large corporate members of the British Chamber of Commerce in China and China-Britain Business Council are invited to this seminar. It will be hosted by one of our member companies, China Enterprise Communications Ltd. (China Entercom), who will introduce their innovative new SmartCLOUD technology.

This event will be particularly relevant to senior management, marketing and IT professionals or those who work with databases, especially in companies that have multiple offices or locations. However, it will be relevant to anyone in a professional operation.

The presentation will focus on:
  • A changing environment – how to integrate cloud computing into an enterprise’s strategy
  • Cloud computing – how far is the cloud away from our life and what drives cloud development?
  • Witnessing the change – how to use cloud computing to improve market competitiveness
