As peak time approaches for student applications, and UK Visas & Immigration prepares to launch a new cross-China network of visa application centres, our Education Forum will convene on Tuesday 15th April at the British Centre for a timely update on the UK’s student visa process.

Members of the Education Forum are invited to attend this update. We have invited Jiang Jingjing, Account Manager for Education at the UK Visas & Immigration Service to brief participants on the latest student visa requirements and changes, particularly with regard to the Tier 4 (General) student visa.

This is a highly recommended forum for organisations that are involved in the UK student visa application process and would like the opportunity to pose queries directly to UKVI. There will be time for discussion and questions, as well as the chance to meet other attendees from the education sector and the forum chairs.

Please register online by clicking the button below, or email Ms Li Jin at jin.li@cbbc.org.cn for further information.

Please note that only registered guests will receive updates or details of any changes to the event. In the event of cancellations, we kindly ask that you inform us before the event so that we can offer the place to another guest.

About the Education Forum & the CBBC Education Programme 2014
The Education Forum is co-chaired by Peter Bloxham (PFB Associates Ltd) and Qu Min (London Metropolitan University).

The Education Forum welcomes individuals interested in the Chinese educational sector as well as the following main groups of members: foreign-owned schools operating in Beijing, education and training providers (ranging from importers of educational materials through to English-language schools), awarding bodies of UK qualifications, UK education providers targeting Chinese students, and education consultants.

In addition to the general objectives the Education Forum also aims:
  • to improve government relations and develop alliances with relevant bodies;
  • to conduct strategic communications in order to inform members of policies and specific business opportunities relating to the Education sector;
  • to organise events promoting UK education providers in China.
Our 2014 Education Programme is also underway. Details of activities on the programme, and how you can participate, can be found here.
