NB: For UK companies only.

Over the last 18 months, Healthcare UK, UKTI & CBBC have been working to identify meaningful business opportunities for UK organisations in the elderly care sector in China. This follows on from the publication of CBBC’s research report on the sector: “Enabling Business Opportunities for UK Companies in China’s Elderly Care Markets” - see: www.cbbc.org/guide/china_info_and_reports/eldercarereport.

The opportunities include those from investors, property developers, operators and regional governments with requirements for design and development, commissioning, service operations, training, management and digital health and care systems.

As a result of discussions with members of the Healthcare UK China Elderly Care Group, we are now planning a mission to China to follow up on a number of the business opportunities identified to date.

The itinerary will maximise opportunities to meet potential customers and partners whilst giving time to develop business relationships.

The visit is also timed to coincide with the 4th Annual Retirement Living World China Conference in Shanghai which has offered a "Satellite Partnership Seminar" to showcase UK mission participants at the event - see: www.imapac.com/business_conference/retirement-living-world-china-2014.
