Memory particularly working memory, is essential to leaning, and difficulties with working memory underlie many learning problems. As an educator, how can we spot signs of weak memory and what can we do to support these students in the classroom?
Join us as Anne Eisenmann, a visiting school psychologist with over sixteen years experience in the US, talks us through this and more. Core topics to be covered include:
  • What is memory?
  • What is the difference between long term, working or short term memory?
  • How do deficits in working memory show up in the classroom?
  • Can working memory be strengthened?
  • What tools can be put in place?

About the Learning Frontier

Launching in Beijing later this year, the Learning Frontier is a multidisciplinary educational practice that empowers families and supports children’s unique learning needs. We will work closely with international and local schools to help students who need extra support, offering a variety of therapy sessions, observations and assessments as well as provide training and consultations for educators and parents.
