PWC Opens New Branch in Hangzhou

Leading professional services firm, PwC China, recently celebrated the opening of its Hangzhou branch, the company’s 16th branch in China.  

Mr. Yijun Lv, Zhejiang Securities Regulatory Bureau Chief and other officials from Hangzhou and related municipal and provincial government departments attended the opening ceremony, and cut the ribbon with Frank Lyn, PwC China Markets Leader and Steve Pan, PwC Hangzhou Office Lead Partner.

Mr. Lyn said, "Against the backdrop of a difficult global economic climate, PwC China has opened its Hangzhou office, its 16th branch in China.  As part of PwC China's continued expansion, this opening is an indication of the firm's commitment to China."

PwC Hangzhou Office Lead Partner Steve Pan said, "Hangzhou's economy has been particularly active in recent years, making it a financial centre in the south of the Yangtze River Delta.  We look forward to establishing a long-term cooperative relationship with the Hangzhou municipal government as well as local and foreign enterprises in the area.  We aim to provide world-class professional services and strong support to the city of Hangzhou."
