Our Education Forum will convene on Tuesday 9 December to discuss how your institution should be using social media to maximise the impact of its marketing, in an age when many schools and universities still rely on trade fairs and printed prospectuses.

Sam Flemming, an expert on digital marketing in China, will explain not only how your digital marketing ought to be done, but also how you could be using social media intelligence as part of a smarter marketing strategy.

Details of the Education Forum can be found below along with information about CBBC's Education programme for 2014-15.

About the speaker
Sam Flemming (费嘉明), CIC founder and CEO
Sam Flemming is founder and CEO of CIC, China’s first and foremost provider of social business intelligence. For over 15 years, starting with Chinapay.com, China’s first online payment platform, Sam has been at the forefront of China’s digital (r)evolution. Since founding CIC in 2004, he has steered the company into position as both thought and market leader in China social media and social business.
CIC’s tools and professional services help businesses like L’Oreal, Nestlé and BMW convert the ‘chatter’ from the world’s largest, most active digital market into superior business performance. Sam has a keen understanding of the landscape’s leading players and the evolving relationship between advertisers and consumers. Extensively referenced and interviewed by media sources worldwide, Sam is highly respected amongst industry experts. CIC is part of Kantar Media, a WPP company, which recently acquired global social listening platform Fisheye Analytics, enabling Kantar Media CIC to cover 67 languages in 190 markets across the world.
