Yichang Municipal Bureau of Commerce invites you to attend Yichang International Tea Trade Fair from May 7 to May 10. More than 100 local enterprises and 50 foreign tea companies will attend the fair. The events include: opening ceremony, tea forum, tea exhibition, trade negotiation, contract signing ceremony, visiting tea factories and tea farm, etc. All your cost of transportation and accommodation in Yichang for this fair will be beared by Yichang Municipal Bureau of Commerce.

Yichang (Ichang), the second largest city of Hubei Province, was located at the joint point of upstream and middle stream of the Yangtze River. It is an excellent tourist city and the world famous Three Gorges Project and Gezhou Dam were just built here. The city owns perfect transportation system with railway, expressway, airport and river ports. Every day, there are many direct flights from main cities of China, including Bejing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Xian, Chengdu and so on. At present, Yichang has already been designated as a regional central city of China.

Yichang’s climate, soil and geographic conditions are very suitable for planting high-quality tea, and its planting history can be dated back to 2000 years ago. In 1850, Yichang began to export its high-quality tea in big scale to foreign countries and Yichang Tea was widely praised and enjoyed by their foreign customers. At present, there are more than 200 tea processing enterprises in Yichang and they can produce all kinds of tea, such as green tea, black tea, dark tea and white tea. All of the tea companies there are looking forward to meeting representatives and importers from foreign tea companies.
