Entrepreneurship and Innovation classes offered by Xi'an-Liverpool University

Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University (XJLTU) recently signed with 88 Initiative and St Catharine’s College Cambridge to provide a Master Class and Leadership Exchange programme. 
 
The XJLTU-88 Initiative Master Class in Entrepreneurship and Innovation is delivered in classes and workshops, focusing on interaction with real companies, their management and experts in financing and bringing innovation to China. This therefore involves practical experience in negotiating deals, which, in some cases, may lead to successful investment. 88 Initiative has planned a series of high-level networking meetings in Cambridge and London during the programme, where participants will have a chance to discuss UK opportunities including specific investment prospects with potential partners, advisers and experts from industry, government and academia, and to develop permanent relationships for the future.

About 88 Initiative
The 88 Initiative aims to provide opportunities for Chinese executives, business professionals and for entrepreneurs in China who wish to study innovation and entrepreneurship in the United Kingdom. The programme provides executive education based at Cambridge University, mentoring and career advice service, managed by Professor Alan Barrell, Entrepreneur in Residence at Judge Business School.
 
The 88 Initiative aims to make a difference by matching UK companies with Chinese investors and entrepreneurs to embed Chinese knowledge, cash and connections in entrepreneurial UK companies and open pathways to Chinese markets. The programme involves UK companies in different business disciplines and the technology sector that are particularly suited to China’s growth and Five Year Plan. The focus will be on practical application, implementation, pre and post M&A and joint venture management. The programme will offer a new and unique experience for entrepreneurial Chinese business leaders determined to help China achieve global leadership and excellence through investing in world-class innovation available in the UK.
 
About St Catharine’s College, Cambridge
