In partnership with AustCham Beijing and the Beijing Scottish Society, the British Chamber of Commerce in China hosted its first ever Highland Games on Sunday, 2nd June. The 5-hour community day saw a crowd of over 700 all gathered at Dongfeng International Sports Park, this was notable the largest community event that BritCham has ever hosted!
Traditionally an annual community fun day in the summer, this yeaar we have added in a special twist featuring over 35 vendors selling most loved beers, drinks and food from England and Scotland, as well as other arts and crafts stalls that were loved by kids and families, as well as the highland games competition, which was definitely the highlight of the day. The event ended on a high with 16 teams participating in the Tug-o-war competitions!
