We are opening one position of Business Engagement Specialist, which will primarily provide cross-cutting support to the entire members of the China business engagement team in order to foster stronger value creation for the business partner and member.
Support and enable the team’s engagement efforts by identifying, initiating and supporting the closing of relevant partnership conversations. Support the development of partnership pipelines and lead generation by researching key information (e.g. conducting research on companies, identifying executives, finding contact details). Monitor and support the delivery of internal and external commitments, providing community management support by preparing communications, and timelines and tracking milestones to deliver on the team’s objectives. Work with primary engagement managers within the team to ensure that internal databases, knowledge tools and team records are up to date and standards. Provide day-to-day orchestration of logistics, including the planning and execution of team meetings, offsites and other community-based events. Support business engagement team with partner engagement review, onboarding, renewal and other related external facing activity. Provide inputs to the industries and platforms (sources of the Forum’s value-delivery) from the partners and synthesise feedback. Manage the CRM system (Salesforce) to ensure data required by the organisation are up to date. Lead ad-hoc administrative projects. Broad intellectual background with a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in business, marketing, communication or economics preferred. A minimum of 3 years of work experience in a coordination and support role in a fast-changing professional environment by providing organisational support for large cross-functional teams across different time zones. Solid service and teamwork spirit. Excellent organisational, project and time management skills, a strong work ethic, and high attention to detail. High proficiency in analysing complex industry issues using the most relevant business intelligence and in synthesising appropriate recommendations. Ability to work and build long-term, trust-based relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. Strategic and creative skills in thinking, research, writing and presentation. Agile team player and self-starter who enjoys working in a highly collaborative, fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment. Native Mandarin speaker and proficient in English, both spoken and written; overseas experience preferred.
