The China-Britain Business Council’s Shenzhen office has won the “Best Promoter of Shenzhen” award presented by Invest Shenzhen, as recognition for the work CBBC did in 2016 supporting them both in Shenzhen and in their work in the UK, promoting Shenzhen and introducing UK companies to business and investment opportunities in the city.
CBBC’s local team has worked hard on behalf of CBBC’s British member companies to build relationships in Shenzhen, and has undertaken a number of major initiatives, projects, events and missions in partnership with the local government departments.
Notable activities in 2016 included a UK visit to the China Hi-Tech Fair, a CBBC ‘Made in China 2025’ forum concentrating on Sino-UK manufacturing partnerships, and a leg of CBBC’s Great British Brands Festival for British retailers.
