Description

Following the success of the “Walking with the Sun” concert at the Poly Theatre, Aidi School will pay tribute to traditional culture with a concert to be held on June 12th 2018. The concert will be staged at the Forbidden City Concert Hall.

The concert program covers Peking Opera, local theatre and folk songs and dances. The concert will embody Aidi School’s educational philosophy of creating global citizens with a strong Chinese cultural identity, and awaken more people to the respect of traditional culture.

In addition to the concert, Aidi School will also hold a series of learning activities based on traditional culture. These will include masterclasses based on the elementary school museum curriculum, a cultural salon held at the Forbidden City Concert Hall on the day of the concert, and an exhibition of artwork created by Aidi School students.

在中山音乐厅的舞台上，爱迪的师生们将为观众们呈现钢琴、京剧、地方戏剧、民族歌舞、原创歌曲、乐队表演等各种形式的节目。而这一切都是师生们在爱迪的校园生活的缩影。由著名作家、剧作家、歌唱家吴霜女士亲自指导编排，用一整场舞台剧的形式将校园生活原本呈现。吴霜女士还将与爱迪的学生们同台共演，再现其母新凤霞的评剧经典。

承古人之创造，开时代之生面。不久前落幕的央视《国家宝藏》节目，在社会各界掀起了一阵中国文化热潮，节目里的“国宝守护人”们为我们讲述“大国重器”的前世今生，解读中华文化的基因密码。在音乐会当天，北京大学考古学博士后、中央美术学院人文学院讲师，《国家宝藏》节目“国宝守护人”耿朔，将在中山音乐堂与到场的观众们展开一场别开生面的文化沙龙。您将有机会听他当面给您讲述他与国宝的故事，以及传统文化学习的现代意义。

除了舞台上的展示之外，您还将通过学生作品的展览，感受国际学校学生对于中国文化的视角和领悟。由全校师生参与创作的“一百幅中国面孔”画展，将千姿百态的国人形象通过不同的技法呈现出来，表达他们对中国文化及中国风貌的理解。
