With Xi Jinping’s stated desire to turn China into an international football superpower, recently there has been a lot of M&A activity involving Chinese investment in Premier League teams. This is coming under scrutiny from the Chinese authorities.
Simultaneously there is an increasing amount of support from the UK in terms of assisting school coaches under the Premier Skills programme.
