2017 will be a particularly exciting year for the British Chamber of Commerce Southwest China as this year we will celebrate our 20th Anniversary in Chengdu. To mark this special occasion we will be hosting a joint 20th Anniversary Celebration and Queen’s Birthday Party as part of Southwest China’s upcoming British Festival this summer! This summer the British Consulate-General, in cooperation with the wider UK government departments and local partners, will host a British Festival in Southwest China with a diverse range of commercial and cultural events in Chongqing, Sichuan, Guizhou and Yunnan, which will demonstrate that the UK is an open, innovative and quality partner for Southwest China.
The highlight of the festival will be a showcase Queen’s Birthday Party and a celebration of 20 Years of British Business in Southwest China. This event will be attended by local & international government officials, representatives from the international business communities including BritCham/CBBC members, fortune 500 companies and local organisations, media and local British community.

About the British Chamber of Commerce Southwest China
The British Chamber of Commerce Southwest China is a membership based, non-for-profit, non-governmental organisation which acts as the voice of British Business in Southwest China. It first established its first southwest office in Chengdu back in 1997 with a goal to create a platform for British Business operating in Southwest China.
