The British Chamber of Commerce in China and the City of London invite you to a dinner with The Rt Hon Lord Mayor of the City of London, Alderman Peter Estlin, the 691st Lord Mayor.
Shaping Tomorrow’s City today is this year’s Mayoral programme. The programme aims to promote innovation and technology, champion digital skills and address digital and social inclusion. What are the long-term strengths of the City of London and the UK? We are delighted to welcome the Lord Mayor of the City of London on his trip to Beijing.
Below are themes to be covered during the event:
- UK innovation across FinTech and Green Finance, and opportunities to partner with Chinese firms;
- The digital skills agenda;
- London’s future as an international financial centre after Brexit
Join us for dinner and drinks on Friday 22nd March, for a high-level networking opportunity celebrating the strong UK-China bilateral relationship and the affect that Brexit will have on it. During this dinner, Alderman Peter Estlin will advise members and guests on the City’s viewpoint on Brexit, the most recent updates from the City, the trends shaping the City and also discuss the role of the UK in global trading relations, before closing with his reflections on his visit to China.
The dinner will be 3-course and includes wine, beer and soft drinks.
