CBBC is working with TopSchools on the RAISE Conference in Shanghai from 16th – 18th November 2018. Over 70 international education experts from all over the world, along with over 2,000 conference attendees will gather at ANSA (Shanghai) International Conference Centre: all with the goal of strengthening understanding and communication between international schools across Asia.
RAISE stands for Redefine Asian International Schools and Education. RAISE Conference is organised by TopSchools. TopSchools is dedicated to establishing a community of K12 international educators by developing a leading, high-quality international education focused media platform that also provides professional development programmes, a talent recruitment service, market research, and data analysis.
According to the statistics of TopSchools, there will be more than 1,100 schools in China adopting international curricula by the end of 2019. This growth of international schools in Asia has not only provided students with more opportunities for international education with a global mindset but also serves as inspiration and reference for the educational development of other countries. However, in the course of further development, schools across the region also face many challenges such as those related to continuous improvement of bilingual education, cultural integration, community relationships, and talent recruitment. In order to strengthen the understanding and communication between international schools across Asia, TopSchools has organised the RAISE Conference.
The UK is a world leader in education, with the British curriculum, education services, and products having a high market share across the world, especially in Asia. As a RAISE co-organiser, CBBC’s education team helps UK education and training organisations win business in China, and helps Chinese organisations access the broadest range of UK education and training expertise.
RAISE Conference will be one of the most significant and largest school-focused events in China in 2018. The UK is the 2018 RAISE Country of Honour and there will be a UK pavilion at the event. RAISE will invite representatives from government organisations, professional institutions, schools, and other service providers that lead the international education sector, to this unique event, to share experiences and promote the development of international education in Asia.
