In the past 8 years, the China-Britain Business Council has hosted 7 UK-China Architecture Forums in Guangzhou. This year, CBBC, in partnership with Guangdong Innovative Talents Promotion Association will hold the UK-China City & Architecture Forum in one of China’s most innovative cities – Shenzhen (downtown) on 12th October 2018 (Friday).

Event Introduction
At present, China’s commercial real estate industry is in a critical period of transformation and innovation. The relationship between China and the UK has grown stronger in the past few years. The UK government plans to continue to support British companies in taking the lead in construction, planning and design, and engineering through cooperation with Chinese projects.

This forum will analyse current trends of the real estate industry, and how the city can be better planned and how buildings can be better designed to cope with changes it brings, covering topics including urban regeneration and low-carbon construction, etc. It will bring together professionals for the exchange of industry expertise and resources, and help  build relationships between Chinese and British Companies. China and the UK can work together for the sustainable development of these industries and build more livable cities.
