A delightful Friday evening for BritCham last week, where we welcomed the Rt. Hon Lord Mayor of the City of London, Alderman Peter Estlin and his delegation, to join a private VIP dinner with 50 guests at the Intercontinental Sanlitun.
With Beijing being the final stop of his 2019 China tour, the Lord Mayor shared candid view on recent economic situations of the UK, opportunities of financial institutions in China and the UK and how they can strengthen partnership in 2019. The Lord Mayor really engaged the crowd with his personal stories, experiences, and his positive outlook for the future of UK-China cooperation.
We would like to thank the Lord Mayor for his insightful sharing and the City of London for arranging the visit. It was fantastic opportunity for our members and non-members to network with high-level officials over a splendid view of Beijing Sanlitun and a delicious 3-course dinner.
