CBBC and BritCham invite all Beijing-based members to join us for an afternoon mixer on Friday 5 May at the British Business Centre (10thFloor, China Life Tower / 中国人寿大厦)
Providing services across 15 locations in China–Beijing, Changsha, Chengdu, Chongqing, Fujian, Guangzhou, Hangzhou, Hong Kong, Nanjing, Qingdao, Shanghai, Shenyang, Shenzhen, Wuhan and Xi’an, we would like to present this as a particularly good chance to learn about how we can support your business across the whole of China, as well as to meet all four of our Regional Directors in Beijing at once (visiting from Shanghai, Shenzhen and Chengdu) and sectoral and function teams based here in Beijing.
We will also be taking the opportunity to farewell Stephen Phillips, CBBC Chief Executive, who will be moving on to a new role in Hong Kong next month after over ten years at the helm of CBBC. Stephen will be recapping some of the highlights of a decade of enormous growth in the scale and depth of the UK-China commercial relationship, and looking forward to the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead for all of us.
This is an informal event with brief remarks followed by drinks, light refreshments and conversation, and will be a great chance to reconnect with old friends as we see in the Beijing spring!
