The UK Government will host a Compliance and Transparency Forum over 20-22 March in Shanghai.

At the three-day event, government and private sector specialists from the UK, China, and the region will explore practical ways to jointly combat financial crime.

Specific topics to be covered include the Transparency Agenda; Common Reporting Standards; Offshore Tax Evasion; Public-Private Partnerships (PPP); Regtech; and wider Anti-Money Laundering methods.

The Shanghai Compliance and Transparency Forum will be the third event in the series, following events in Jakarta and Singapore in 2017.

The target audience ranges from financial crime compliance specialists to wider corporate counsel and law enforcement and regulatory officials.
