The BDI Manager will work at the intersection of developing new business, generating data and analysis, and utilizing this intelligence effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Using technology, strong interpersonal skills, strategic thinking, and an enterprising mindset, the BDI Manager will straddle the business development and research departments, reporting directly to the managing director, to drive the future sustainable growth of the organization.
Responsibilities will include (but not limited to):
- Overseeing business development and new partnerships
- Creating comprehensive, effective marketing materials
- Ongoing management of the company website
- Supporting production of social media content
- Maintaining the company-wide CRM system
- Writing proposals for client solutions and working with operations to systematize the sales and business development process
- Meeting existing clients to analyze needs and propose solutions
- Conceptualizing and integrating technology solutions
- Working directly with the research team to create new content
- Producing research reports
- Act as a link between operations, business development, and research to streamline processes and ensure the quality of deliverables
Key requirements for the role:
- An ability to see the big picture of a business vision
- A strong ability to execute projects both individually and part of a team; always working to the highest possible quality, not simply completion
- Extremely competent English writer (Mandarin writing skills an advantage)
- A strong ability to utilise new digital tools and programs including but not limited to: CRM systems, Event Management, Website Design Tools, AI Tools (both third-party and inhouse)
- An assertive, confident and enterprising personality
- A strong work ethic and willingness to see tasks through
- Professionalism in all aspects of the role; (relevant) work experience in international organisations is essential
- Understanding of the key Microsoft office suite programs (Word, Powerpoint, Excel) and online elements (Teams, Sharepoint, Outlook)

Schedule: 9am-6pm; Monday to Friday
Salary: 18000RMB a month
(With clear targets for an annual bonus)
