PeopleCert is looking for a Business Development Manager with extensive experience in developing a strong pipeline and delivering new business in their territory.

 

Through an in-depth understanding of PeopleCert business and go-to-market strategy, you establish relationships with decision makers of training organisations, professional education related influencers, universities, local communities and corporations in your territory.

 

The successful candidate will be responsible for PeopleCert Business and IT qualification portfolio.

 

As a Business Development Manager, your tasks will include the following:

  • Maintain and achieve maximum B2B market penetration of PeopleCert products, implementing a target-driven sales strategy.
  • Liaise with partners predominantly to employers, higher educational institutions, enterprises and other clients in education-and related markets to promote PeopleCert services.
  • Organize appropriate marketing activities, especially digital marketing activities to satisfy local needs and identify new potential partners.
  • Run campaigns to obtain recognition and testimonials from government, universities and organizations.
  • Deal with customer enquiries and aim to meet their expectations.
  • Implement alternative and innovative ideas for achieving business target.
  • Plan and organise personal sales strategy by maximising the Return on Time Investment for the territory/segment.
  • Monitor own progress against daily/weekly/monthly targets and report accordingly to the Headquarters.
  • Facilitate and expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints, working closely with support teams.

 

What we look for:

  • Bachelor’s or relevant degree required.
  • 5 years’ experience in driving business development, with proven track record in driving successful business development transactions
  • Experience in the Business Consulting or Examination / Certification sectors in previous role(s) as well as prior experience in international corporate environments
  • Experience in digital marketing content planning and social media operations
  • Sound understanding of channel development, strategy selling principles, partnership strategy and consultative selling
  • Superb relationship, communication, and negotiation skills in working with executives, external constituents, and other business functions at all levels of seniority in a versatile and mixed-cultural environment
  • Excellent command of the English language (native or C1 level certification desired, C1 IESOL certificate would be a plus)
  • Competence in MS Office, including Excel, Powerpoint, Word, Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics CRM or similar
