We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quality Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining quality management systems (QMS) to ensure our products meet the highest standards of excellence. In addition, the Quality Manager will play a key role in supporting our Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) initiatives. As a Quality Manager, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas of improvement, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and ensure compliance with industry regulations and customer requirements. 

Responsibilities

Quality Planning:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain the company’s QMS, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 and customer requirements.
  • Quality planning during Project development e.g. APQP
  • Develop and maintain quality documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, 8D, control plans and inspection plans.
  • Ensure staff are trained and competent in quality-related processes and procedures
  • Stay current with industry best practices, regulatory updates, and emerging trends in quality management.
  • Support the development and implementation of ESG programs, collaborating with relevant teams to align with the company’s sustainability goals and enhance our reputation as a responsible corporation.

Quality Assurance:

  • Lead and manage the quality team (QCs), providing guidance, training, and mentorship to ensure the continuous development of their skills and knowledge.
  • Conduct regular audits of the QMS to identify areas of non-compliance, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement..
  • Investigate and analyze root causes of quality issues, developing and implementing corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring effective communication and timely resolution of any quality-related issues.
  • Audit Suppliers and manage supplier continues improvement program
  • Manage and monitor the company’s quality performance, reporting key performance indicators (KPIs) to senior management and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality management, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of quality management principles and ISO 9001
  • Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and mentor staff.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex quality concepts to various audiences.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and quality management software/tools
  • Certified Quality Manager (CQM), Certified Quality Auditor (CQA), or Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) credentials are preferred. Experience or familiarity with ESG initiatives is a plus.
  • Fluent in Chinese and English
  • Ability to travel international (SEA, EU)
